Detoxing = ‘More Toxins Leaving The Body Than Going In’
So, simply fasting or doing a raw food diet will not detox you unless your detoxification exits are clear…Lungs, Skin, Bowel and Bladder. If these are blocked in any way, you can feel pretty awful and your fat cells, tissues and organs will simply reabsorb the released toxins. I always recommend a colonic with a coffee enema before you embark on any detox program, to clear the bowel and to support the liver by stimulating toxin release. Plus colonics/enemas during the detox itself. If you really don’t want a colonic, I will recommend coffee enemas and/or supplements to do at home, so don’t let that put you off.
